CUIB Vice Provost reminds students on the need to respect exams rules and regulations ahead of First Semester examinations
Students of the Catholic University Institute of Buea, Douala Campus, have been told to respect the rules of the first-semester exams above all to keep to time as they will be sitting in for the exams beginning March 3 rd, 2020
The Vice Provost Dr. Felicitas Mokom made the call during a meeting that brought together students, faculty and staff to reecho to them the rules and regulations governing examinations in the university.
Dr. Mokom indicated to the students that examination is not meant to punish them, but it is one of the ways in which the students can be accessed which will build-up to their educational achievements and that the students should not take the exercise as a do or die affair but should look at it as an opportunity to evaluate their knowledge on what they have been studying.
She also called on the students to be well behaved and ensure that they keep to time when writing the exams for no students will be admitted into a hall if they arrive 30 minutes late Students were advised to avoid bringing in any material that may disqualify them from writing and above all keep to their phones at home because they will not be accepted in the hall.
The students were content the updates given to them by the Vice Provost alongside other administrators.
