Miss Italy Runner-Up Inspires CUIB Students with Message of Values and Success

Francesca Mame, who recently placed as Second Runner-Up in the Miss Italy pageant, visited the Douala Campus of the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB). During her visit, she addressed students interested in modeling, encouraging them to prioritize their values and integrity.

Mame, who previously won the prestigious Miss Lombardia pageant in 2021, emphasized that success in modeling is attainable without compromising essential qualities. She praised the CUIB’s focus on training professionals with strong moral values, which empowers students to make positive contributions to society.

The Second Runner-Up shared her experiences and outlined potential opportunities in the modeling industry. She also discussed some of the challenges she has faced and the strategies she employed to overcome them.

Of particular significance was Mame’s connection to Cameroon, as her mother is Cameroonian. Her visit was not only an opportunity to inspire students but also to connect with her African roots.

Students at the Douala campus enthusiastically engaged with Mame, asking questions that she thoughtfully answered. Her visit inspired them to pursue their modeling aspirations while maintaining their integrity and upholding the values instilled by their university. It is noteworthy that the reigning Miss Cameroon 2023 is also a student of CUIB, underscoring the university’s commitment to nurturing talent.

Mame’s message resonated with the students, who were encouraged by her emphasis on balancing personal values with professional goals. Her visit served as a reminder that success can be achieved through hard work, determination, and a commitment to ethical principles
