CUIB CONVOCATION and Parents Day: Nov.17, 2017
The 2017/18 Convocation Ceremony and Parents Day of the Catholic University Institute of Buea CUIB, has been scheduled for Friday November 17th 2017. This twin celebration shall take place at the University’s Campus A in Molyko- Buea, beginning with Holy Mass at 9.a.m.
During the convocation ritual, officials of CUIB shall welcome over 300 freshmen into the different schools and colleges of the university, who will be expected to take an oath to abide to the rules and regulations governing the running of the institution.
These freshmen are embarking on a new chapter at a time that is not just consequential for their own lives, but also critical for the country and the world at large.
This explains why the university on this day shall also bring together parents of freshmen and returning students to witness the swearing in of their children into a new era of their educational career. Parents shall equally have the opportunity to meet with the school’s management and lecturers, to better understand the activities of CUIB and how they can contribute to the educational success of their children.
Committed to education and learning as vehicles for human betterment and also to its mission to train professional servant leaders, CUIB has put in place facilities to ensure the smooth and continuous running of the university.
