CUIB students receive laptops
The Catholic University Institute of Buea Community on Friday 21st December officially received the presidential laptops offered by the President of the Republic of Cameroon President Paul Biya to enhance digital economy in the Cameroon’s higher Educational System.
The Laptops were officially handed to the President of CUIB Rev.Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa by the South West Governor’s Representative who congratulated the CUIB President on his efforts in promoting Higher Education in Cameroon
Rev.Fr. George thanked the government of Cameroon and the President of the Republic for providing the students of CUIB with Laptops who are already learning using the Mobile and Ubiquitous method during this school year.
He pointed out that these computers will go a long way to help CUIB students catch up with the new and exclusive way of learning via the mobile and ubiquitous method and it will equally help students to do research, and assignments.
“I want to thank the President of the Republic H.E Paul Biya for thinking about CUIB and for providing us with a great tool that will help the students in studying at CUIB. It is a good thing for us and we are very grateful to the State of Cameroon.” Fr. George Concluded in an interview with press men and women.
