Commencement Mass 2017

Over 340 students who are to graduate from the Catholic University Institute of Buea on the 19th of December 2017 have been told to put the spirit of Humility and appreciation at the center of their career as it takes humility, and thanks giving to succeed in life.
This was during the Commencement Mass in view of the Commencement Ceremony for the batch of champions 2016/2017 under the canopy of the Proprietor and Chancellor of the Catholic University Institute of Buea His Lordship Emmanuel B. Bushu, accompanied by the President of CUIB Rev. Fr. George Nkeze, campus ministers, staff, faculty,  and students of CUIB.
His Lordship Emmanuel B. Bushu during his homily told the graduating students that “Be thankful to God, when we thank God we are like God, God is a thankful God”
He equally stressed that the spirit of Humility is the catalyst to  succeed in life and that the graduating students should not be too proud but rather they should be humble in life for people who are humble are always the ones who experience open doors but those who are proud do not succeed in life.
According to the Chancellor of CUIB the Mass aimed at thanking God for the successful end of the academic year and to pray for God’s guidance on the lives of the graduands.
At the end of the Mass the President of the Catholic University Institute of Buea Rev. Fr. George Nkeze thanked all those who attended the Mass and told the students that hard work will never fail them.
