2017/18 Academic Year: CUIB Heartily Welcomes Its Students!
Freshmen and returning students of the Catholic University Institute of Buea CUIB, today October 9, 2017, received a warm welcome from the management, faculty and staff of the institution as they walked into the City of Saints and Scholars with much enthusiasm to begin the 2017/2018 school year.
In an opening address to these students during the first orientation program, the Vice President for exams, records and publication Dr. George Atem, sitting in for the Chief Academic officer of CUIB, guaranteed the students of the commitment of the university in training them as professional servant leaders with moral and spiritual values. He further called on the students to be determined and collaborate with their lecturers to ensure the success of their academic journey
In addition, Dr. George emphasized the measures put in place by management to ensure the hitch free running of the 2017/2018 academic year and invited students to make use of the services made available to them to facilitate learning in CUIB. The freshmen orientation program will run for a week alongside the online registration of courses for both freshmen and returning students.
