Nigerian Movie star Zack Orji visits CUIB
Popular Nigerian Actor Zack Orji paid a courtesy visit to the Catholic University Institute of Buea for a one-on-one discussion with the President/Pro Chancellor Rev. Fr. George Nkeze in relation to entrepreneurship and talent development in CUIB.
Both men had a one-on-one discussion on the issue of Talent Development, looking at the Entrepreneurial mindset as a means to meet up with existing demands in the creative industry.
Their 30 Minutes discussion was a forum for both men and their respective delegations to understand each other and to see how they can improve the way at which students are being empowered when it comes to Talent Development.
At the end of their meeting, Zack Orji expressed his satisfaction with the way at which he was received at CUIB and explained to CUIB communication team that, he had a very fruitful meeting with the president of CUIB Rev. Fr. George Nkeze and stated the meeting is a sign of better things to come to CUIB in the months ahead.
The president of CUIB Rev. Fr. George Nkeze appreciated Mr. Zack Orji’ for visiting CUIB and echoed that their discussion will bring in more innovation in the way at which talents are being developed at CUIB in line with the mission “to prepare professional servant leaders with moral and spiritual values who will contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.”
And vision “to bring hope to the students and awaken in them a sense of purpose and direction, so that they may achieve social, economic, spiritual, cultural and environmental well-being in their communities in particular and the nation at large.”
He also adds that this will fall in line with the restructuring programs that CUIB will be running for the upcoming academic year that is; short certification programs which will run for two weeks, one month, three months, nine months,one year and two years.
