We have four main operational departments: Network administration, Server and System Administration, Graphic/Web Design and Database and Programming.

The network administrator is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the CUIB computer network systems. He is in charge of designing and installing of LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet network systems.

The server and system administrator maintains the health of the servers in the data center, and also in the offices of the university. He runs system backups and updates.

The Web Designer plans, creates and codes internet sites and web pages, many of which combine text with sounds, pictures, graphics and video-clips. He is responsible for creating a website or webpages; this includes the design, layout and coding, this can mean working on a brand new website or updating an already existing site.

The Programming and Database department is involved in the development of web-based applications to power the university’s business activities.
