CUIB Douala Campus Welcomes Freshmen with Traditional Handshake

The Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) Douala Campus kicked off the 2025/2026 academic year with a warm welcome for freshman students. The event began with a traditional handshake, led by CUIB President Rev. Fr. Bartholomew Anyanwu, alongside Dr. Ngamgoum Eric, Director of CUIB Douala Campus, and Dr. Felicitas Mokom, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Cooperation.

In his opening remarks, Rev. Fr. Anyanwu expressed gratitude to the students for choosing CUIB, urging them to be good ambassadors of the institution. Dr. Ngamgoum encouraged the freshmen to make the most of CUIB’s facilities, setting them up for success in their academic journey.

The Vice President of Academic Affairs, Research, and Cooperation gave an overview of CUIB and its different arms. She also highlighted that CUIB is a place where students can realize their dreams.

This orientation marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the new students, as they embark on their academic pursuits at CUIB, a premier entrepreneurial university in Central Africa.
