Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) First Semester Examinations Begin

The First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year officially commenced today, 17th February 2026, and are scheduled to run until 26th February 2026. The examinations involve students across all schools and programmes, including BSc, HND, and B-Tech levels.

The general atmosphere on campus this morning reflected seriousness, preparation, and a strong sense of academic responsibility among students and staff. At 8:00 a.m., Level 2 BSc, Information Technology students began their examinations at Ngongi’s Hall. Invigilators ensured that examination regulations were clearly communicated, creating a calm and well-organized environment conducive to concentration and fairness. Simultaneously, Bsc and HND Level 2 students in Catholic Studies commenced their examinations at the Bushu Block.

The early start demonstrated the institution’s commitment to effective scheduling and smooth coordination across departments. Students arrived early, revising quietly and encouraging one another, reflecting both determination and academic maturity. Staff members were present to guide and support candidates, ensuring order and discipline throughout the process.
