THE PRESIDENT OF CUIB AND CEO OF EXPRESS EXCHANGE.

The Catholic University Institute of Buea and Express Exchange on Thursday 27th August 2020 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster education and Business between both institutions

The event took place at CUIB main campus in Buea with the President Professor Victor Julius Ngoh signing on behalf of the Institution while the CEO of Express Exchange Xavier Takam signed on behalf of their money transfer agency.

This signed Memorandum of Understanding between CUIB and Express Exchange will enable CUIB students to pay their tuition fee through Express Exchange and the money transfer agency will on her part sponsor the academic and socio-cultural events of CUIB.

Express Exchange will equally provide internship placement for CUIB students alongside some employment opportunities for those whom they think can work effectively in their institution.

The President of CUIB Professor Victor Julius Ngoh said “The CUIB community is very happy. This is the first CUIB memorandum of understanding that CUIB has signed with a financial institution. It is a very unique moment because it comes just when I am just about 2 months old as President of Catholic University Institute of Buea”.
