CUIB at the 26th General Assembly of IFCU, Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth, Ireland

Rv. Father George Nkeze Jingwa, elected President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) for Africa and one of the Vice-Presidents of IFCU in the world

The International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) held its 26th General Assembly at St. Patrick’s College in Maynooth, Ireland from Monday 23 to Friday 27th of July 2018. During this meeting, which brought together the leaders of the Catholic Universities in the world, Rev. Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa, President of the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB), The Entrepreneurial University, was voted President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) for Africa and one of the Vice Presidents of the IFCU Executive Team (made up of the President of the Federation, three Vice-Presidents among which Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa and the Secretary General) whose Headquarters is Paris, France.

It should be noted that this was the year for general elections. The mandate for the executive team is for three years (2018-2021).
