Health Science Students Launch the Nurses Week Celebration
On Wednesday, 6th May 2026, Nursing students from the School of Health Sciences at the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) officially launched their Nurses Week celebration with a vibrant and energetic march pass. Dressed uniformly in their CUHSAB T-shirts, the students marched proudly from the Molyko Campus to UB Junction and back, marking the opening of a week dedicated to celebrating the nursing profession.
The procession attracted attention and admiration from onlookers, as students demonstrated unity, discipline, and pride in their calling. The march not only symbolized the strength and commitment of future nurses but also created awareness about the vital role they play in healthcare delivery.
Upcoming activities promise an engaging and impactful week, including a triage drama and emergency response demonstrations on Thursday, a lively 90s-themed day on Friday, sports and games on Saturday, and a grand finale on Tuesday featuring candle lighting, drama, awards, and heartfelt appreciation moments.
