Catholic University Institute of Buea Kicks Off Semester Exams

Students of the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) at the Douala Campus joined their counterparts in Buea to commence their first semester examinations for the 2024/2025 academic year. The exams began with a general university course, SCS 201: Christian Reading of History, followed by their respective courses.

In preparation for the exams, the Director of the Douala Campus, Dr. Ngangoum Eric held a pre-examination meeting with students to sensitize them on the rules and regulations governing the exams. The meeting emphasized the importance of honesty and integrity, core values of CUIB.

Dr. Felicitas Mokom, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Research, and Cooperation, made a surprise visit to the Douala Campus to ensure a smooth start to the exams. She expressed satisfaction with the progress made on the first day.

The exams are expected to run for two weeks, and students have been warned that any breach of exam rules will result in disciplinary action. The university’s administration has emphasized its commitment to upholding academic integrity and maintaining a conducive learning environment.

With the exams underway, CUIB students are focused on demonstrating their knowledge and skills, while the university’s administration ensures a fair and transparent examination process.
