His Excellency Lawal Bappah had his first stop at the President’s office where he applauded Professor Victor Julius Ngoh for  changing the game in Cameroon’s higher education by organizing an academic fair for CUIB students to showcase their business ideas and innovations to the public.

During their one-on-one discussion, the Gonsul-General told the President that CUIB is on a good footing following its model that trains job creators and not job seekers. He promised that the consulate will continue to support CUIB in promoting their mission and vision which is to train professional servant leaders with spiritual and moral values who will contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.

After his brief meeting with Prof. Ngoh, both officials accompanied by their collaborators visited stands at the trade fair ground.

As he moved to the different stands he was pleased to see how the students were exhibiting their business skills and innovations.

He was also delighted to see how some Nigerian students were creating impact in the university community and encouraged them to take this knowledge to their home country.

I am very happy with the university and to see how students are being trained to meet up with 21st century challenges. What I have seen here is wonderful and I see that this is the first university in Cameroon to have such a great model of entrepreneurship. When I return to my country I will propose this great idea,” the Consul-General His Excellency Lawal Bappah said.
