CUIB launched International Conference on Technology and Design
High school students across Fako division, Staff, Faculty and students of CUIB have been called upon to use technology wisely to solve their existing challenges. The call was made by the president of the Catholic University Institute of Buea Rev. Fr George Nkeze Jingwa on the occasion of the Launching of a 3 days International Conference on Technology and Design
The conference had as guest speakers; Anthony J. Morlando AIA, LEED-AP, Director of Diocesan Properties and Risk Management, Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte, NC, USA , Tom Balke AIP, LEED AP BD + NCARD, Studio Principal Community/Schools, Partner, Little, Charlotte, NC, USA, Dr Maurizio De Bortoli (Architect) School of Enginnering CUIB and Ekang Rene(Eng.) School of Enginnering CUIB
The conference is aimed at improving the skills of participants and to bring to their attention the current technological trends that can impact their careers.
The speakers displayed a series of videos on current technological design trends and models from the US perspectives as participants were drilled on modern designs.
