PROFILE I aim for a career as Accountant, Auditor, and Finance Controller. I wish to serve as a cornerstone in the management of funds and Implementation of Policies/Regulations to Improve Client’s financial situation. My main desire is to become a leading professional by promoting the principles of good governance and transparency. I am a fast Learner and team player capable of working in a multicultural environment. Accountant (VOLUNTEER): Catholic University Institute Buea December 2017 – Till Date Main Duties:

s Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders and Invoices.
s Verify that financial requests and payments are in line with the university’s finance policies and

Procedure

s Paying employees by verifying expense requests and assist in preparation of cheques for external payments
s Paying vendors by scheduling pay check and ensuring payments is received for outstanding credit- generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding Finance.
s Assist in Salary calculations for some employees, verify pay amounts, hours work, deductions

and pay-outs over the counter for those concern.

s Establish and maintain confidential employee payment and other financial files.
s Continue to improve the payment process
s Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
s Perform accounting analysis on accruals, payables, receivables, reconciliations and reporting to

support decision-making.

s Follow document retention policy to maintain accounting files.
s Assist various units in accounting issues and queries.
s Assist the elementary school with accounting queries.
s Generate account management reports on monthly basis.
s Adhere to standard accounting principles and the institutions procedures.
