Nursing Students at CUIB Douala Reach Milestone with Successful Project Proposal Defense

Third-year Nursing students at the School of Health Sciences, Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) Bonaberi-Douala Campus, have successfully defended their final year research proposals. This achievement marks a critical transition, allowing the students to begin the field research phase of their respective studies.

​The defense session was chaired by Mr. Nobert Ndzenjempuh, Coordinator of the School of Health Sciences (CUIB Douala), alongside Mrs. Kinyuy Yvette and Mr Tah JavisMai. In his opening remarks, Mr. Ndzenjempuh emphasized that the defense is designed to refine students’ methodologies and equip them with effective strategies for data collection.

​A total of 18 students participated in the exercise, receiving expert guidance and corrections essential for fulfilling their Higher National Diploma (HND) requirements. Closing the session, Mrs. Kinyuy Yvette urged the candidates to implement the feedback immediately and maintain close collaboration with their supervisors to ensure timely completion of their graduation projects.
