Undergraduate Applicant must have passed in at least Four (4) subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level or Probatoire and in addition at least Two (2) subjects at the GCE Advanced Level or Passed in Baccalaureate (General or Technical). Other certificates recognized by MINESUP will also be considered.
Post Graduate Applicant must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalence from an accredited University or Higher Institution of Learning.
STEPS TO APPLY
To complete an application on our platform you must fill a Sign Up Form. This entails filling in your Personal Biodata, Contact Information and Login Information. This helps for easier followup, and also to help us maintain sessions, when you will be completing your application. Applicants can log In and Out of the system as many times as they may choose.
On the start page you will use the [Create an Account] link to start the signup process. If you already signed up, you will provide your Login Credentials, and then click the [LOGIN] button. If you forget your password, you can also recover it, by using the [Forget Password] link next to the [LOGIN] button.
Note that when signing up, you must provide the correct information because part of this information will be used to constitute your final application file. You may not be able to change certain information after the signup process. Ensure you have a valid telephone number when you signup.
After creating an account, you will be expected to make a non-refundable applicant processing fee of 15,000 FCFA for an Undergraduate Applicant and 25,000FCFA for a Postgraduate Applicant, to permit you proceed with the application process. You can login at any time to make payment or register payment details. There are three (3) main ways of paying your application processing fee: Mobile Online Payment(Orange or MTN), MTN Mobile Money Offline Payment and Bank Payment via one of our University Bank Accounts (Ecobank, NFC). NB: Applicants applying after the deadline of 18th November 2024(Undergraduate) OR 25th November 2024(Postgraduate) are required to pay an additional late aplication fee of 5000FCFA.a. Mobile Online Payment(Orange or MTN)
We strongly recommend that the applicant uses our online Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money option for payments. This will permit him/her to get instant account activation to enable them complete their applications. You are required to have your mobile phone close by, to authorize an Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money transaction.
This payment is facilitated by MONETBIL service and you will be charged an additional transaction fee equivalent to 3% of the total apllication fee.
If you do not have an Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money account, you could always use that of any Orange Money/ MTN Mobile Money Sale Point agent or a relative or simply register for an Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money Account from a nearby Orange/MTN Service Center. Simply open the application website on a mobile phone or computer, and supply the Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money telephone number. Please you will be expected to follow the instructions keenly during the payment process.
NB: Make sure you confirm your payment within 1 minute, using your Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money PIN code.
If your Orange Money/MTN Mobile Money account is charged, but the transaction on the Online Application Platform fails, DO NOT REPEAT the Payment. Simply contact us by email to admission@cuib-cameroon.net, providing us with the Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money Transaction ID, and your Username created on the application platform.
b. Offline Payment
Pay your application fee through MTN Mobile Money to the number 680027699[ACCOUNT NAME: MBU YVETTE] (MTN Cameroon).This method would require you to pay an additional withdrawal charge of 350FCFA.Save the Transaction ID for this payment because you would be required to enter this reference number as a proof of your payment.
It is recommended that, you state your name in the payment reference for easy verification.
c. Bank Payment
Pay 15,000 FCFA (Undergraduate Applicant) or 25,000 FCFA (Postgraduate Applicant) into one of the University's account with Ecobank, NFC or Express Exchange, scan or snap the receipt and upload on the online application platform. Your transaction will be verified within 72h (3 business days). Once this is done, you will receive an SMS or/and Email with instructions to proceed with your application whenever you login.
This is the final step of your application. Here you will be expected to enter the program you intend to study (you will select a First, Second and Third Choice to increase your selection opportunities).
Other information will be providing which includes your educational qualifications; and your subjects obtained in secondary school.
Internal/External Transfer StudentsFor Internal (within CUIB) or External (other University) student transfers, you will need to upload a scanned transcript or relevant document during the process. Equally send an email to admission@cuib-cameroon.net with attachments of any other available supporting documents: Admission Letter, School attendance, Result Slip, transcript, etc. The subject of the email should be: TRANSFER STUDENT:(Your Full Name)
For all applicants, your sponsor's contact will be required followed by the final submission of the application, to complete the application process. You will see a screen prompting that you have successfully completed the process. Once completed we will get back to you within 5 working days with the results from the selection committee.
