Freshmen in the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Catholic University Institute of Buea have been called upon to respect the school rules and regulations and above all, take their lessons seriously. The call was made by the Dean of the School Dr. Hako Touko Blaise during the first orientation ceremony on Monday October 9, 2017.

Talking to the students, Dr. Hako Touko Blaise pin pointed the importance of studying agriculture in a country whose economy strongly depends on agriculture and highlighted that agricultural revolutions have always been the backbone of clean and sustainable Industrial and Economic Development all over the world.

Hence, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources in CUIB is designed to train sound and competitive Agricultural leaders with morals for a national and global community and market that will help Cameroon achieve its emergence by 2035.

On the Economy of Communion Dr. Hako Touko Blaise told the student that it is one of the fundamental principles of the University that brings students together and promote the culture of sharing among students and staff of the institution.

He enjoined the students to take volunteerism periods seriously for this he reiterated is compulsory for all students of CUIB and it empowers them with hands on work experiences.
