Research and Projects at SIT aims to develop innovative solutions to the world’s most daunting challenges in the field of Information Technology. From addressing the technology needs of the society to improving the existing needs of society SIT research efforts are enhanced through creative collaborations with other schools of the university Information Technology firms and companies nationally and internationally and Partner Universities abroad. The school of Information Technology offers three levels of training namely Undergraduate, Post graduate and non-degree programs. All these programs have the common objectives of imparting in its students abilities to communicate their ideas effectively, analyze situations and successfully determine cause and effect relationships, use contemporary tools to locate and analyze information, format and present information of various kinds, differentiate between theory and practice and uses and recognize that broad knowledge is critical for them to contribute to their professions and communities. The School offers undergraduate programs in Cyber Security, Computer Networks and Telecommunication Systems and Software Engineering.
The school offers post graduate programs for Software Engineering only as of nowFinally the school offers non-Degree programs (Certifications) in Cisco Certified Network (CCNA) Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and Comptia Security +, and short courses like Graphic Design and Web Design.
