CUIB Students qualify for regional final of Hult Prize Awards in Nigeria and Kenya

4 teams from CUIB have qualified for the Regional finals of the Hult Prize award schedule to take place in Nigeria and in Kenya this 2018.
The Hult Prize is an international competition which is aimed at solving the world’s most pressing challenges and was founded in 2009 by Ahmed Ashkar of Hult International Business School.

The national competition brought together over 50 teams from different Higher Institutions in Cameroon.
The four teams from the Catholic University Institute of Buea that qualified for the Regional finals for the Hult Prize are: Pulverized Food, Unique Tea, Infinity Mag Power and ABC.

The Pulverized Food team project is based on food processing of natural organic food which will increase life span and reduce the rate of food poisoning.

While the Unique Team project is on Natural tea which will help reduce the rate of diabetic in our society.
The Infinity Mag Power Team project is based on generating electricity from magnet which is environmentally friendly and affordable and will boast energy supply in Africa.

And that of ABC Team, is an app that will enhance efficiency of learning our native languages
The four teams will have to travel to Nigeria and Kenya for the regional finals and if they qualify for the regional finals they will have to travel to England for the Finals of the competition

ABC Team, The Pulverized Food and Unique Team project will travel to Nigeria while The Infinity Mag Power team will travel to Kenya
