The CUIB Community today 6th December 2017 joined Rev. Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa in a thanks giving Mass at the EOC Village of the Catholic University Institute of Buea to celebrate 25 years of priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa was ordained as a priest of the Roman Catholic on 6th of December 1992 by Bishop Pius Awah in Fontem a village in Lebialem located in the South West Region of Cameroon.
The Thanks giving mass is in preparation for the upcoming celebration of the 25th anniversary of his priestly ordination and the launching of the Catholic Berakah Ministry scheduled on the 16th December 2017 at the Catholic University Institute of Buea.
During the thanks giving mass with the CUIB community, Rev. Fr. George Nkeze began by appreciating the love of God almighty upon his life in which he stated that “The story of my 25 years of priestly ordination is captioned A story of fidelity”
In his story Rev. Fr. George Nkeze told the university community that God’s love for His Christians is endless and cannot be measured no matter their condition; they should know that God’s love for them will never fail for it has never failed.
He pointed out his own experience and told them that in any situation they find themselves, they should always give thanks to God. He highlighted that from when he was ordained on December 6th 1992 till today 6th December 2017, God’s blessings on him have not change.
“I see a God that is trust worthy, I see a Father who doesn’t change, and I see a Father whose love for me is endless. God has blessed me in abundance, broken me and whenever I have challenges I know I am blessed”.
“From today I will train “Berakanians” that is people who accept their life as a gift and share it with others; my mission will always be to win souls for Christ that is what I was called to do 25 years ago and will never depart from it” Rev. Fr. George Nkeze told the University community
He concluded by telling the university community that “The love of God is so powerful so much that all I can say is I praise you Father, I bless you and I thank you Lord”
The upcoming 25th anniversary celebration scheduled for 16th December 2017 will have the launching of the Berakah Ministry and a book launch titled “Berakah” An Authentic Eucharistic Spirituality which encompasses a life of divine blessings, gratitude, joyful praise and positive mindset.
