Catholic University Institute of Buea football Club CUSA Fc conceded 1 goal to 2 against Victoria United FC of Limbe on Sunday 19th November 2017 in the ongoing South West Mini Interpol at the Limbe centenary Stadium.
The football match between CUSA FC vs Victoria United FC of Limbe was a match describe by football lovers as the fight between David and Goliath due to the fact that CUSA FC is a young team with young talents who have never played the Mini Interpol.
The 90 minutes match in Limbe brought together plus 1500 football lovers who came to experience good football at the Limbe Centenary Stadium. Prior to the start of the match, Coach Enonbi Brandon of CUSA FC told his boys that the only way they can win the game is to stay focus and collaborate with one another in the field
“Always give passes to the nearest player and avoid long passes if you are not sure it will meet your team mate, it is only in doing so that we can win the match” Coach Enonbi Brandon told his boys.
35 minutes to the end of the first half CUSA FC with the technical knowhow of Robert Molango Oben dribbled the fullback defender and netted a goal football lovers captioned “lionel Messi style” putting CUSA FC 1 goal ahead of Victoria United Fc. CUSA FC took the lead one goal to Zero during the first half of the game.
At the second half of the game Victoria United FC came from behind and equalized the goal putting the results on the balance in the 20 minutes of play in the second half. 15 minutes to the end of the match Victoria United came in again with the second goal which was a deflection from the full defense player of CUSA FC.
The match ended 2-1 in favor of Victoria United FC AKA Opopo FC
