Effective classes for the 2017/2018 school year at the Catholic University Institute of Buea started today October 16 in all its schools and colleges for both returning students and freshmen of the University.
Over hundreds of students today answered present at the Campus of CUIB as the train of effective resumption left the high way to the destination of excellence.
As the other schools and colleges had their individual courses today, the school of Information Technology on their part had their first lesson in Telecommunication system II and Access Network in the early hours of the morning.
The students who resumed school on the 9th of October 2017 had one week of orientation and counseling with faculty and staff about the policies, values, goals, mission of the university and possible ways to ensure their stay and safety at the University.
The returning students were informed of the new modalities governing CUIB for the 2017/2018 school year while the newly admitted were schooled on the registration procedures of their courses at the Catholic University Institute of Buea.
Blending excellence and spirituality, the students actively took part in the EOC hour of the university praying to God almighty for his blessings and above all for the gift of life as they move on with classes this academic year.
