Orientation School of Information Technology 2017/18
“If you follow up your classes, do your homework on time, above all respect school rules and regulations, you will succeed in your career as a student in the School of Information Technology” These were some of the words echoed by the Dean of the School of Information Technology Dr. Felicitas Atabong Mokom during the orientation ceremony of freshmen of this School.
Speaking to the freshmen, Dr Felicitas Atabong Mokom told the students that, the school of IT is aimed at training innovative problem solvers, individuals with the ability to transcend theory and apply their technical skills towards finding solutions to the variety of problems in the modern world.
She equally added that the School of Information Technology offers high quality professional education with the primary objective of creating “Techpreneurs” and Laureates of the future. The IT curriculum integrates morality, entrepreneurship and hands-on technical training and prepares students for success at national and international levels.
The students were very happy with the orientation ceremony and promised to do their best to ensure that the academic light of CUIB shines brighter.
