CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy: Developing Talents and Skills
CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy recently had its first sports classes with 7 professional coaches from the CUIB Sports Academy. Their ambition being that before a child graduates he/she should be able to identify and know proper fundamentals or basics in more than one sport discipline. The activities started this Friday 8th/09/2017. At 8:30am all the
pupils from class1 to class 6 assembled at the trench in front of the President’s Office, where they started with General Animation coordinated by all coaches present.
For the first term the classes shall be involved in the following disciplines;
1. NURSERY1- CLASS 1: ATHLETICS, CLASS 2: DANCE, CLASS 3: TABLE TENNIS, CLASS 4: HANDBALL, CLASS 5: BASKETBALL, CLASS 6: FOOTBALL
During the first sports classes the following aspects were introduced to the pupils:
CLASS 1-ATHLETICS:- Drills, High jump drills
CLASS 2-DANCE:- Fundamental of dance, Coordination in dance, Dance styles and simple Aerobics steps
CLASS 3-TABLE TENNIS:- Fundamental postures, Grips, 4 arm drive
CLASS 4-HANDBALL:- Reception, Passes
CLASS 5- BASKETBALL:- Balance in Basketball, Stops and Shots
CLASS 6-FOOTBALL:- Fundamental of Football, Passes, Dribs
These sporting disciplines are going to be taught to these kids till December and in January they shall change to other disciplines.
For this first term the classes shall involve the following disciplines and taken by different coaches
1. CLASS 1: ATHLETICS, with Coach Emmanuel Bengu (graduate INJS Represented Cameroon at the Internal Scene Games, National Champion, 100m, many University games), Sports Teacher,
2. CLASS 2: DANCE, with Coach Ntoko Derrick Mbasi (Coach Fans Club, 6 years of Dance with UB, Trainer South West Dance Troops).
3. CLASS 3: TABLE TENNIS, Coach Bensah Cyril (Multiple Cameroon champion and University Games, International player in his sports and coach. Masters student of CUIB on study, work program) Mr. BOULMO-SAIBA’A YAOUSSOU IGOR ( Just coming back from an international program in Table tennis from China, multiple Cameroon Junior Champions and International player in his sports discipline and a Junior Student in CUIB).
4. CLASS 4: HANDBALL, Coach Fofie Severin (Goalkeeper with the University of Buea with triple gold medal and player of the South West Regional team)
5. CLASS 5: BASKETBALL, Coach Ifose Emile Mbella ( Coach, Developer and Expert in Coaching)
1. CLASS 6: FOOTBALL, Coach Samuel Enobi Brandon and Coach Ngollo Collins. Coach Samuel Enobi (Former Cameroon International player, played the National Elite One, licensed Coach with FECAFOOT and pioneer football coach CUIB “CUSA FC”). While Coach Ngollo Collins (Licensed Coach FECAFOOT, active player with CUIB Football team CUSA FC, represented Cameroon at International Competitions).
