One week after the effective resumption of the 2017/2018 school year at the Catholic University Institute of Buea Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy, the aspect of discipline cannot be over emphasized.
At CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy discipline is very important as it will help to instill morals in the lives of pupils.
Hence the Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy looks at discipline as an integral part of the school which deserves to be taken seriously. Quoting from Ephesians 6:4 which says “And ye, father provoke not your children to wrath but bring them up in the nature and admonition of the lord” (K.J.V.S)
By this the director is of the opinion that proper discipline must be done in the way of the lord.
Ending her stands on discipline, the director cited proverb 22.6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” (K.J.V.S)
“Hence the discipline that has been implemented at the CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy is holistic and not corporal punishment as the case is with some schools. We belief that children are gift from God and should be listened to, talked to and appreciated when they do something right.” The director concluded.
According to some parents who have kids at the Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy, the kind of discipline that has been implemented at the Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy so far is laudable and shows that their kids are in safe hands.
“We are very happy with the way our children are being disciplined. No corporal punishment is used on them but morals and educational talks. So we are happy that our children are safe” some parents highlighted.
Admission into the CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy is still ongoing.
