Preparatory activities ahead of the official opening of higher institutions for the 2017/2018 school year have started across the national territory.
Here at the Catholic University Institute of Buea, which is one of the few schools that successfully ended the 2016/2017 school year within the Anglophone Regions of Cameroon, with an excellent result in HND across the national territory; activities have been intensified to ensure the smooth start of 2017/2018 school year.
In a retrospective analysis, the Catholic University Institute of Buea successfully ended the 2016/2017 school year without any minor or major incident. This was due to adequate security measures that were put in place to ensure the safety of students during the school year.
In view of the upcoming academic year the university has stepped up its security to guarantee the safety of students, staff and faculty within the campus of the university.
Maximum security both visible and invisible is now part and parcel of CUIB. The management sees the safety of students as number one priority for effective and quality studies.
The improvement of security in CUIB, has been applauded by parents of the CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy which
started on the 4th September 2017 at the main Campus of CUIB.
A parent who has a kid at the CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy expressed his satisfaction with CUIB security services.
“When I was told about the Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy, the first question that came to my mind was; how secured is the university? And how am I sure that they will not close their doors as the case was with other schools during the 2016/2017 school year?” He pondered.
“When I got there to enroll my kid, I was happy with what I saw. The security was excellent and above all very welcoming. I left very happy that my child is in safe hands for the 2017/2018 school year” He concluded.
CUIB A &T has been running effectively since Monday 04th September 2017 till date and the Catholic University Institute of
Buea- the City of Saints and Scholars begins classes on October 9th, 2017 with a secured campus.
Admission is still ongoing for HND, B.sc, and M.sc programs into the different Schools and Colleges.
