The 2016/2017 academic year across the national territory was a remarkable year in the life of the Catholic University Institute of Buea as the University was able to maintain its track record of academic success and excellence during the 2017 HND exams.
Out of the many schools that participated to write the HND exams across the national territory for the 2016/2017 stormy school year, the Catholic University Institute of Buea had the best HND results for the North West and South West Regions and above all emerged as one of the best within the nation despite the stormy academic atmosphere that characterized the 2016/2017 school year.
The strength of CUIB is quality education and skills formation of which is the number one priority of the President of the university Rev.Fr.Dr. George Nkeze, who sees education as the epicenter for economic, social, cultural, environmental and political development.
In view of the forth coming academic year, the management of CUIB has instituted effective security to ensure a peaceful learning environment and the safety of students backed by competent staff whose passion for training professional servant leaders cannot be over emphasized. This is in a bid to ensure that CUIB meets up with its values; which is to bring hope to students and awaken in them a sense of purpose and direction, so that they may achieve social, economic, spiritual, cultural and environmental well-being in their communities in particular and the nation at large.
Admission for the 2017/2018 school year is ongoing.
