Members of the joint CUIB/UB academic and supervisory committee; today had a meeting to discuss, evaluate, and adopt the results of the second semester examination of the Catholic University Institute of Buea for the 2016/2017 Academic year.
The meeting had in attendance, two representatives of the University of Buea in the like of Dr. Neba Ayunui, and Dr. Eneke Bechem and was chaired by Prof Wilfred Ndonko Provost of the Catholic University Institute of Buea, accompanied by Dr. Atem George Vice President of Exams ,Records and Publication.
During the plus two hours deliberation, Prof. Wilfred Ndonko Provost of the Catholic University Institute of Buea highlighted the circumstances under which exams were conducted in CUIB and how the school year successfully came to an end.
Speaking on behalf of the University of Buea, Dr. Neba Ayunui lauded CUIB for ensuring that the 2016/2017 school year ended successfully despite the tensed nature of the 2016/2017 academic year .
He equally appreciated the way at which the exams were conducted in CUIB, which shows that CUIB is a place for excellence and how ever cautioned CUIB to increase security measures as they prepare for the upcoming academic year so as to ensure that 2017/2018 moves on hitch free.
At the end of the joint CUIB/UB academic and supervisory committee meeting to evaluate the 2016/2017 second semester results both parties were satisfied with the transparency and objective nature of the exams.
As of now all is set for the release of the results.
